Biography

Mr. Goldston is a former Computer Forensic Examiner for the Cyber Crimes Unit, Idaho State Police.  He also served as a Peace Officer for the State of California with 33 years of service in Los Angeles County.  He worked 11 years as a Deputy with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and 22 years as a Senior Investigator for the Bureau of Investigation, Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.  Mr. Goldston also co-founded, organized and set setup the first Computer Forensic Laboratory for Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.  During which time he participated in the forensic examination of in excess of 600 computers.  In the State Idaho, Mr. Goldston has forensically examined over 200 computers.  G2 Research was started in 1999 in Los Angeles, California and moved to Boise, Idaho, in 2004.  Working part time as G2 Research Inc., Mr. Goldston has forensically examined over 300 computers as a computer forensic examiner.  All computer forensic work conducted with G2 Research Inc., are civil cases, non-criminal.
